My Race.... this is so complex it'll take a life time to write up
I will be in this race, I've had 2 goes andonly slightly failed at getting to the start line.... DOH...!
Any watch this space and watch what happens next....
Mongol Rally London- Ulaan Bator part 1
This was one of my most spectacular failures, I wrote a treatment document for this to turn it into a 6 part documentary for Channel 4. Unfortunatley I was some how conned by the organiser and the show was made by Ginger TV. it pretty much followed my treatment notes but missed the subtle point I was going to make...
Oh well I did this edit and was supposed to be paid for it, unfortunatley that was also forgotten by the organiser.... Who got a £10,000 award for being such a nice bloke..... DOH...!
Mongol Rally London- Ulaan Bator part 2
see the previous for the explaination as to why it's her. One day when they see the error of their ways pay me for the edit then I'll take off youtube.
Vines ride outs
As I'm a Vines customer I've supported a number of the events Vines has put on in the past. This was filmed as a test on a very new (at the time) solid state camera. It's now several generations out date the articfacts are added by the FLV conversion the youtube site.
Part 2 of the ride out.
I've always enjoy the challenge and creative aspects of cutting the video and film making. Looking at this now really dates the footage, shot in 4x3.
Vines at the BMW Off-Road School
I shot this while attending the BMW Off Road Skills School in Wales as part of the Vines Off-Road weekend, while there I did ride way too fast, crashed and broke my hand.... DOH! which took 12 months to heal
The weather was absolutley awful, but then that's part of it all...
Touratech Adventure Weekend
I helped Nick from Touratech with all the presentation equipment needed for the Travel event he was putting on. People here included Kevin and Julia Sanders from Globebusters left that weekend and went off to ride the test route to China exploring the new route for the 210 tour. A few hours later Walter Colebatch left for his record breaking trip to Siberia. With his Sibersky Extreme Project, more details can be found on his website.
